What has FARE Protocol been up to?
Since fundraising concluded in May 2023, FARE has honed its mission to support on-chain probability experiments through extensive research and product development.
This work has led us to certain groundbreaking technical revelations on what FARE can be - that is:
A protocol that will permanently disrupt the full landscape of internet gambling today.
1) Where anyone with an internet connection will be able to gamble - with verifiable randomness - on an infinite variety of games via a single, uncensorable smart contract
2) Where anyone with an internet connection will be able to create their own novel, on-chain gambling games with total creative freedom and no smart contract engineering
3) Where anyone with an internet connection can deploy trustless, turnkey casinos permissionlessly and for free (no bankroll)
4) Where anyone with an internet connection can capture the full upside of gambling activity simply by holding a token - no staking necessary
5) Where there is no central "treasury" susceptible to insolvency, but rather a token and smart contract whose sheer existence guarantees immortal wager liquidity

we're long-term bullish web3 gaming and every-term bullish web3 gambling
why gambling specifically?
because gambling is the one category in gaming that is natively financialized
every in-game action in a casino *is* a transaction
and while there are billions of dollars in crypto transacted through online casinos today, it all happens off-chain via centralized web2 providers

Proof of Play and Ronin are emblematic of the Web3 Gaming Thesis. Majority of on-chain activity outside of payments is speculation based and speculation is inherently unsustainable.
