𝗘𝗶𝗱-𝘂𝗹-𝗙𝗶𝘁𝗿 2026: 𝗔 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 -As the blessed festival of Eid-ul-Fitr approaches, my heartfelt greetings go out to all my friends and fellow citizens in India celebrating on 21st March 2026, and to dear friends in Saudi Arabia who will mark this joyous occasion on 20th March 2026. #Eid is not just a festival; it is a celebration of faith, discipline, gratitude, and humanity after the sacred month of Ramadan. It teaches us compassion for the less fortunate and reminds us to uphold unity and kindness in our daily lives. On this auspicious occasion, while we celebrate with our families, let us also pause and pray for peace across the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with innocent lives affected by conflicts in the #MiddleEast and #Afghanistan. We remember with deep sorrow the children who lost their lives in a tragic school incident in Iran and the vulnerable patients affected in hospitals in Afghanistan. May the Almighty grant them eternal peace and give strength to their families in these difficult times. As a doctor and clinician, I would also like to extend a gentle health advisory during this festive transition. After a month of fasting, where the body adapts to controlled eating patterns, a sudden shift to heavy meals can stress the digestive system. It is advisable to begin Eid with light and balanced meals. Avoid overeating fried and sugary foods, stay hydrated, and maintain portion control. Incorporating fruits, dates, and easily digestible foods can help the body gradually readjust. Eid is a time to rejoice, but also to care—for ourselves and for others. Let us celebrate responsibly, ensuring that our joy does not compromise our health. A mindful approach will allow us to fully enjoy the blessings of this beautiful festival. The Pakistan military regime’s attacks on Afghan civilians, infrastructure, and economy seem directly linked to U.S.-Iran tensions. I believe Afghanistan refused to hand over Bagram Airbase to the U.S. for use against Iran, and that's why pressures escalated through Trump's loyalists Asim Munir and Shehbaz Sharif. It looks like the U.S. wants a team 93k type puppet regime in Iran to use against others in the region.
