We had the chance to give her one last pet and a kiss at the vet that day. That was bittersweet. I brought home her collar. The sound of her bell is nostalgic/comforting.

Last week we lost Noortje, our 15 year old cat. Noortje was a bit off, quiet and hiding recently, so she went to the vet. Turned out she had a large fluid build up around her lungs. While removing the fluids she passed due to heart problems/stress.
