Guys, I feel so bad for this guy, Actor Jo Byeong Gyu He was accused of bullying, and from what I know, After the allegations came out, he decided to sue the accuser to clear his name, and the whole thing turned into a legal battle. In 2021, police investigations had concluded that the allegations were fabricated and the accuser had apologised to him. The craziest part? Because he was such a huge star with so many brand deals, the companies are reportedly demanding around ₩4 billion in penalties for the damage caused by the scandal. He’s been presenting evidence and trying to prove he’s innocent, but according to the company, the evidence isn’t enough and he still has to pay. They’re basically saying they don’t care whether he’s guilty or not—the scandal happened, the brands were affected, and that’s all that matters to them. But what about his reputation? His name and career are on the line too. 😭 What I can’t comprehend is that he’s still fighting to clear his name while the companies seem more focused on the damage to their brands than on whether the accusations were actually true or false. This whole situation is just sad.

Your Excellency, unsurprisingly, this statement is an admission of failure, not a solution. Lagosians do not need periodic emergency evacuations of mountains of refuse. What they need is a functional waste management system that prevents waste from accumulating in the first place. For years, residents have endured overflowing dumps, uncollected refuse, blocked drainage channels, and worsening environmental conditions despite billions of naira allocated to environmental management. The fact that you now have to “direct an immediate scale-up” after waste has already overwhelmed communities is an utter failure of leadership. Indeed, Lagos generates over 13,000 tonnes of waste daily today, just as it did yesterday, last month, and last year. This is not a surprise. It is a known reality that should be planned for through efficient collection, waste sorting, recycling infrastructure, transfer stations, waste-to-energy investments, and transparent performance management of operators. Like your commissioner, you cannot continue to shift responsibility to citizens to “bag their waste properly” when many communities are left without reliable and affordable waste collection services. Rightly, Citizens have a responsibility to dispose of waste properly, but government has an even greater responsibility to provide the infrastructure and systems that make proper disposal possible. Lagos cannot continue operating reactive clean-up exercises and public relations statements whenever refuse piles become impossible to ignore. Lagos deserves a modern, accountable, and sustainable waste management system: one that measures success not by the number of trucks deployed after a crisis, but by the absence of the crisis itself. Again, Your Excellency, after seven years in office, why is Lagos still battling a problem that should have been solved through competent planning, execution, and oversight? I guess the answer is obvious: if e didn’t dey, e didn’t dey. #OURLAGOS

Dear Lagosians, I have directed an immediate scale-up of waste evacuation across Lagos following the recent build-up of refuse in some parts of our state. LAWMA, LASEPA, and the Ministry of Environment are currently working around the clock. We have deployed extra trucks and personnel to clear the backlogs across all affected neighbourhoods. You should already see progress on the streets and we will not stop until our city is completely clean again. Lagos generates over 13,000 tons of waste every single day. Managing this requires a massive effort but our determination to fix the current challenge is absolute. As we continue this cleanup, I ask for your partnership. Please bag your waste properly and avoid dumping refuse in drainage channels or on the roads. We are fully on top of this situation. Let us work together to keep Lagos clean and safe for everyone.

Nigerians sold their hard earned belongings, paid ransom, only for Nigerian army to come online and be claiming they rescued the victims. A security architecture running on billions have to resort to propaganda and lies to show their workings. This is a shameless national embarrassment.

TROOPS OF 12 BRIGADE RESCUE FIVE KIDNAP VICTIMS AS TERRORISTS FLEE SUSTAINED MILITARY ONSLAUGHT Troops of 12 Brigade Nigerian Army under 2 Division Nigerian Army have successfully intercepted and rescued five kidnapped victims abandoned by fleeing terrorists during ongoing counter terrorism operations in Kogi State. The feat was recorded on 17 June 2026 as troops intensified efforts to exploit the successes achieved from recent coordinated ground and air operations against terrorist enclaves operating within the state’s forested areas. The operation formed part of sustained offensive actions aimed at dismantling the criminal networks of notorious terrorist kingpins and denying the criminals freedom of action within the Brigade’s Area of Responsibility. Acting on operational directives and following the recent air interdiction mission conducted against a known terrorist hideout within the forest, troops deployed from Forward Operating Base Oshokoshoko on a blocking mission along Oshokoshoko–Adankolo route within Adankolo Forest. During the operation, vigilant troops intercepted five kidnapped victims who had been abandoned by the terrorists while fleeing from the intense military pressure mounted on their camps. Preliminary findings revealed that the victims had regained their freedom after the terrorists were forced to disperse in the aftermath of the ongoing kinetic operations targeting their hideouts. The victims were immediately secured by the troops and evacuated from the forest to a safe location for further assessment and care. Subsequently, the rescued victims were moved to a military medical facility where they received medical attention and stabilization. The victims were also debriefed to obtain useful intelligence that could assist ongoing operations aimed at locating and neutralizing the remaining terrorists still operating within the general area. Efforts have equally been initiated to reunite the victims with their respective families after completion of necessary administrative and medical procedures. The successful rescue further highlights the effectiveness of the ongoing coordinated operations being conducted by troops of 12 Brigade against terrorists and other criminal elements threatening peace and security in Kogi State. It also demonstrates the military’s resolve to sustain pressure on criminal groups until all camps and safe havens within the area are dismantled. The Commander 12 Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Kasim Umar Sidi, commended the troops for their vigilance, resilience and professionalism which led to the successful interception and rescue of the victims. He noted that the achievement was a testament to the Brigade’s unwavering commitment to protecting lives and property within its Area of Responsibility. The Commander reassured residents of Kogi State and adjoining communities that troops will continue to sustain aggressive operations against terrorists and other criminal elements until lasting peace and security are fully restored. He further urged members of the public to continue providing timely and credible information to security agencies, emphasizing that public support remains critical to the success of ongoing military operations. This is why deadbeats win 🤣 Few months to the next election, only one person is talking, so only him is getting beat from every angle. The rest will come out to dance during campaign season and talk through proxies and win.

It is concerning that none of the major Presidential candidates can speak in an informed way about the key issues. Bad enough that the president can't. Worse that those intending to take his place also can't.
