Hello #Hastings! There will be a training exercise taking place today at the Stable Theatre in Hastings around 7.00pm. Please don’t be alarmed if you see lots of firefighters and fire engines!

At 15:19 appliances from Rye, Hastings and Eastbourne were called to a fire at Pontins, Camber Sands. Please avoid the area and if local close windows and doors.

On 18th April firefighters Luke and Gary will be cycling over 200 miles from Rye Fire Station to Hove Fire station, stopping at every fire station in East Sussex along the way, in order to raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity Find out more and donate: t.ly/4W-y

Hello #Rye! Rye Fire Station are holding a 'Have A Go' evening at the station on 6th May (18:30-20:30). All are welcome to come down & try out firefighting activities. You can also chat to your local crew about becoming an on-call firefighter. See you there?

At 23:49, we were called to attend a barn fire on Whitebread Lane, Beckley. Crews from Broad Oak and Rye are currently in attendance with support from @kentfirerescue. Firefighters are using Breathing Apparatus & a hydrant to extinguish the fire.

At 00:33 we were called to a fire on Adams Lane, Rye. Crews from Rye, Battle & Hastings are on scene with support from @kentfirerescue . Crews are using two main jets and 1:7 foam to fight the fire.
