If our math is correct, this won't really make much of an impact on Ethereum's economics.
With 5B blob gas used daily by L2s on average, we see how even 1 Gwei blob gas would result in only 5 ETH burned.

In other words, it took only 2 months for Solana validator count to drop 13%.
Unsurprising since staking APY is nearly half what it was at the beginning of this year, SOL price near yearly lows and @SolanaFndn reducing their validator subsidies at the worst possible time.

A new all-time low for total @solana validators. Sadly, Layer33 has already been affected, as one of our own had to close down shop today. We need to work faster to strengthen independent validators and keep our home decentralized. 33 🏁
