Today was the 4th project meeting for FISMEP (@FIWARE for Smart Energy Platform) at @RWTH. Prof. @antonellomonti welcomed our Swedish partners @EON_Nordic and @chalmersuniv as well as Romanian partners EnergoBit and University Politehnica of Bucharest.

Today there was an interesting interview between our general manager Prof. De Doncker from @RWTH and Dr. Jens Overrath, Chairman of @thyssenkrupp Electrical Steel GmbH, who talked about "smart grids of the future" and our partnership on this mission. Coming soon!

On behalf of @RWTH and @FENaachen, Alberto Dognini presented the #FISMEP (@FIWARE for Smart Energy Platforms) project at the ERA-Net SES: Family of Projects Event in Magdeburg, Germany, today.

NEWS: The construction of the first medium-voltage DC grid in Aachen has started. Upon completion, the MVDC grid will be used in the FISMEP project during the Field Test Germany. Read more: bit.ly/2uRd8A5
