I honestly think it's a mix of both. You can see in the tree especially, the cabin stone, and the snow edging that there are very clear repeating shapes, in the snow you can see some of the copied elements are flipped which gen ai wouldn't and simply cannot do. But then stuff like the skullette is so off in a way that really doesn't seem human. Maybe it's just an artist messing up, I would need more actual artists to weigh in on that specifically because it looks so classic ai.
