"Red button pushers are the devil" or they just value their own life 😭. Like yes best case scenario everyones picks blue and everyone lives but is highly unlikely the majority will risk their lives.

The point of view of red pushers is that you are given real control over only one outcome and choosing not to exercise that control is a moral abdication which just introduces more risk. The point of view of blue choosers is that it's a moral duty to contribute to the scenario in which everybody lives (and it shouldn't be that hard because you only need 50%+1) Neither choice is wrong and it annoys me when people characterise the other side ad psychopathic or evil, but I prefer red because it's the only scenario in which I can be sure that my individual choice had any positive impact. Red is always +1, whereas blue is always minus one until it's not, and you can't ensure it will ever reach the threshold.

Everyone presses blue = Everyone survives Everyone presses red = Everyone survives Most people press blue = Everyone survives Most people press red = Red survives, but straight up all the blues get killed Red is beneficial to only you, you don't even save anyone by choosing it
