@BramStolk Too many layers of obfuscation. You can't even trust (CPU) assembly instructions anymore. It's microcode below that, and probably another software layer for that. Too bad it's not like a pinball machine youtu.be/E3p_Cv32tEo?si… Curious if a shader with only that one line fails.

@fredsa It does not help that my kernel is OpenCL transpiled to SPIRV, so could also be a clspv transpiler bug? fails only on amd: half x = bounced ? a : b works: half x = mix(b, a, bounced) with bounced value either 0 or 1.

@BramStolk I assume weird (backwards and oddly focused) blue/red splotches on the floor in the top right image? Are coming off of ceiling light via wall reflections (like the subtle and correct wall colored light showing in the other 3). Some kind of x inversion and distance inversion?
