Yeah, I probably have different views than the author, but that doesn't matter because it's interesting. The action scenes suck though. They are devoid of emotion in a way that gave me nightmare flashbacks to Tom Clancy books 😩

The Gate light novel finally has an English translation. I wasn't a huge fan of the anime but I actually really liked the book. It doesn't spare details with its military geekery or the geopolitics in its setting, and that is what gives it sauce
