He’s getting a starter to give JJ some self-reflection time while the team tries to win. He can evaluate how JJ used that time later

I wonder why Kyler never made the trip to Pittsburgh like reported? Or that first class ticket to LA to hear McVay pitch the QB2 behind Stafford? Or Atlanta to see if he could beat out Tua+Penix. Or play with the best WR other side of Jamar Chase in JJ. It’s was always Minnesota!
