@SHV1453108 Fuel v1.7.3 was released on May 20th 2015. PHP 7.2 was released on Nov 30th 2017. So what do you think?

@elDiego2608 Erm... You might want to revisit this statement later, as quite a few things changed, mainly do to the absence of static interfaces, the introduction of DI, and implementation of PSR 7/5/17. Having said that, 1.x will be maintained for security fixes and PHP compatibility.

@fuelphp This has to be one of the best days for PHP developers, it's great to know that it's still more than alive. It's great I no longer have to worry about having to migrate my apps to Laravel haha. Thanks!!

@phillipmwaniki 1.9 will be released when we've sufficiently sure it is PHP 8.2 compatible. Otherwise, all development effort is going into v2.

@mowsnow No, you have to switch to 1.9/dev (which is stable and used for production apps by ourselfs) or wait for 1.9. ^H

@fuelphp Does fuelphp1.8.2 work with php8.1? Or does it only work with php8.0?

Any @fuelphp dev in da house with some spare time? We've got a long-term project, maintenance + new functionality existing NL/EN app, PHP 8.0, approx 150 hours a year. Ideally dutch speaking, but help for app translations is available. Client can communicate in English.

@minerin999 It's on the todo list, I'll try do aim for "in the next two weeks", and hope to find time for some 8.1 testing too. ^H

@kkiarie4 @MayureshPitale No, haven't had time for it yet, due to poor health. In the mean time you can use 1.9-dev, it is very stable.

@rangelavier Not in the foreseable future, due to health reasons. The current codebase is being maintained by our sponsor, flexcoders.co.uk. They are currently busy with PHP8 compatibility. ^H
