I absolutely hate having to write this.
Our friend @MrBluesHat (formerly Hitch’s Hat) passed away last night after a long fight with glioblastoma.
If you were around #STLBlues or #HockeyTwitter for any length of time, you probably crossed paths with him. Elite sarcasm. One of the founders of #Shots4Goals. Professional ball buster. Passionate fan. One of the regulars who made this community feel like more than just people yelling about hockey online.
The disease took a lot from him physically, but it never took his wit, his fight, or his love for his family and the Blues.
He beat the odds for a long time, because stubbornness might’ve actually been one of his superpowers.
The rink, the X timeline, and this fanbase are all going to feel a little quieter now.

It's not free. It's paid for by taxpayers. And why should people pay for the "free" lunch of other people's children? Feeding your kids is the responsibility of parents. And if there are cases of social disadvantage where some kids aren't getting fed then we have a welfare system that needs to deal with it.

update on my belongings: it was a scam but I had an emotional breakdown and I am now accepting i may not get my stuff back so the constant horrific feeling of anxiety in the pit of my stomach is gone also I'm going to buy myself presents tomorrow as a reward for being sad
