Clearly it was deeply significant. It lasted 8 or 9 weeks. We had over 30 consecutive days over 30 degrees. The entire country had a drought. Rivers and streams dried up entirely, parks and fields turned to barren, cracked, dead wastelands….yet that was 50 yrs ago…answers on a postcard please!!
