Just got off work and hopped in a cab home, had to type this out while scrolling the timeline. People still don’t get it: no statement from LADS means no confirmed information. Full stop. Doesn’t matter if it’s leakers or someone claiming to work at Infold. If it’s a personal theory, or something verified by actual press or news, fine, share it. But throwing around #hopium #copium tags isn’t helping anyone right now. Everyone’s nerves are fried because Infold and Papergames have given us zero communication. Not “not enough.” Zero. And on top of that, we’re out here handing people false hope that the company itself already crushed. That’s on us too, not just them. Personally, I hope this delay is tied to CCP restrictions. But I’m not going to go around saying “this is confirmed” like it’s fact, because it isn’t. Now, because of how badly LADS has handled comms with the fandom, some of you have gotten straight up disrespectful and sinophobic. Saying stuff like “oh they’re using holidays or national mourning as an excuse to not respond to global” completely misses the point. That’s not a company policy, that’s a national law that applies to all of China. Entertainment companies are barred from putting out anything that could look like rivalry or controversy during those periods. I don’t care if fans are following suit that or not, but a company making billions has to comply. It’s not like they get to pick which week those dates fall on either. As for the Valko cancellation, I get the anger at the CN players who campaigned against him and fabricated accusations to sink him. That anger is earned.
