@007_abz @robhawkes @russss Every 10 seconds Elec, but Gas only updates ever 30 minutes because the meter runs on a battery.

@jiphex James - I tracked you down and have joined your IHD. The signal strength is quite low - if you have any issues please move it closer to your Electricity Meter.

@IrregularExpr You need to have an IHD/CAD to get mqtt. You can have DCC only data (ie 30 min data for free just download the Bright app and install it (play.google.com/store/apps/det… or apps.apple.com/gb/app/bright/…) . With this you get api access. If you want closer to realtime data you need the the IHD.

@glowmarkt Ahh ok, that’s for live data right? No cost associated with getting that data? Also what protocol is it? I’d seen something about MQTT being available with the IHD but I guess not if it’s from your servers?

Bought an IHD with CAD functionality for my smart meters from @glowmarkt. Once I've tried out the API and MQTT feed, there'll be a blog post coming up with all the details!
