@_Belaiza_ Depends on the specs (over how old it is) but based on what you have said about an IRL cooking stream it should be fine I just wouldn't hold out much hope if you intend to play games & stream using it If it can run OBS (or similar) I would expect it to run the stream no problem

Since I'll have my wireless mic - I'm starting to plan my cooking stream so I have a question: Does anyone here have an experience with streaming from a laptop? I have maybe 6/7 year old MSI gaming laptop, do you think it's possible to stream using it? I'd only run obs, no games

In your opinion Is it worth investing in a service that "promises" to promote a streamer?? genuinely asking

@gnattervid I have sery, I think they are wise to this because they still slip through. I'd like to filter sentences, but a lot of my friends are artists, so I do worry about that. I even saw one hyphenate a word, so it got around a filter I had! Its nuts the lengths they go to!

Sure, viewbots are an issue, but how do I solve the bots coming into my stream, engaging with me for 5 mins then asking me to buy their art. Its the most annoying thing!

Just spent some time using Spark in @StreamWithMeld and I can not wait to share with you all what it has some up with (still fine tuning and having to wait for the cooldown) super excited

@Scopey_13 It really depends how they phrase it, if it is passive aggressive then I'd probably feel extremely bad but if its more of a "try looking at X, I think you'd like them" style of message it will go down a lot nicer
