the thing is that being anti-censorship also includes allowing people express their NEGATIVE opinions on things. you can't be "this piece of art should exist, because i'm anti-censorship" and then "but you're not allowed to express an opinion on it, you should be silenced".

also: in 1x10 samira asks dana "should someone call your husband?". he's named (or at least it is a reasonable assumption that she "benji" is her husband) in 1x11. this wasn't new information for season 2.

@brachel31el Both of the alleged abusive dad cases existed to trigger Santos but both of those arcs got some sort of climax/resolution. That woman's case had a lot of odd details that as far as we know never amounted to anything. I didn't ask for every patient to get a full story.

I do not think that a real-life ER shift would provide complete or consistent resolution, but I do think that a fictional ER shift which gets carefully planned out and scripted by a writer's room for the purpose of telling stories should follow some of the rules of storytelling
