@utopiah Regarding "JVM version nightmares": usually this is no longer a problem these days as you can download the JDK directly from adoptium.net for various OSes (i.e. not via package managers)

I was initially put off by Java, not for the language itself but as I never use it (and I admit had JVM version nightmares) I was concerned with dependency hell. Containerization and OpenAPI support removed all fears and voila, from unfamiliar to working PoC in minutes.👍🏽
