Some tools are more crime-ready than other tools. BTC is more likely to be used for crime than a cordless drill, for example. But, but... wHaT aBoUt thE US dOLLar? Of course money is used by criminals for crime... but BTC is not money. It's digital gold, right? The blocksize war capped BTC with small blocks and neutered it. Because BTC STILL doesn't scale, there is nowhere to go now but to trusted third-party solutions like Lightning Network, or other proprietary L2 solutions that rob Bitcoin of its brilliant feature set. That’s a myth the IRS loves people repeating. Yes, the system relies on voluntary compliance in the sense that you self-report. No, that does not mean it’s optional. If you don’t comply voluntarily, the IRS enforces it involuntarily through audits, penalties, liens, levies, and criminal referrals. “Voluntary” means you calculate it yourself, not you get to opt out.

🚨 CRYPTO SCAMS EXPLODE INSIDE CIRCLE K STORES - VICTIMS SAY LIFE SAVINGS VANISHED AT BITCOIN ATMS A CNN investigation just exposed what employees describe as an “open secret” inside Circle K locations nationwide. Customers are targeted by scammers and walked step-by-step to crypto ATMs inside the stores, often while being told on the phone not to hang up. You can hear the officer pleading with one potential victim: "He's scamming you out of your money. So we're trying to prevent that and stop you from doing it. He's gonna take your life savings from you. Don't let him do that." CNN and the ICIJ reviewed 150+ scam cases tied to crypto ATMs operating inside Circle K stores. The machines are owned by Bitcoin Depot, the largest crypto ATM operator in the U.S. Circle K is its largest corporate partner. Employees say management knew. The machines stayed. And the deal was renewed anyway. Once the cash goes in, it’s gone. How is this even allowed?

We exist to spread education on Bitcoin and other open-source software. Our goal is to help everyone understand the importance of freedom-preserving technology. Clearly, we are not doing enough.

Bitcoin works so long as there is a growing supply of fools who believe nothing is something. But when that supply stops going up, the price of Bitcoin starts going down, causing some people who once believed to stop believing. When enough people stop believing, Bitcoin crashes.

We don't need government enforcement to dictate our morality. There are two ways we can protect ourselves and our children from harmful content: 1) Software tools like DNS filters, and 2) Self-discipline. Practice #2 always, and use #1 when #2 is failing.

This bill threatens to ban critical security, freedom, and privacy tools such as VPNs. This is not about enforcing a moral society or about protecting the children. It is about control, surveillance, and the elimination of an open internet.
