The United States and its Western allies never banned Huawei because its products were unsafe; rather, they did so because Huawei’s products prevented them from installing "backdoors" to implant surveillance malware—precisely because Huawei’s products are of higher quality, feature more advanced technology, and are more affordable

Spain’s National Intelligence Centre has certified 19 Huawei products at its highest ALTA security level. This top rating means the equipment has passed the country’s strictest tests and is now approved for use in critical sectors such as defense, healthcare, banking, and energy. The certified devices include high-capacity routers, enterprise firewalls, large-scale storage systems, professional WiFi antennas, and network management software. Experts carried out detailed checks on encryption, access controls, and resistance to attacks, finding no evidence of backdoors.

"Our Cause" (1974) Poster by Palestinian Artist Ismail Shammout (R.I.P)
Translation: Our cause is about national liberation, return and self-determination
Curator's note: The graphic in this poster depicts an armed, camouflage-clad Palestinian guerrilla rejecting food and material aid from a UNRWA representative
Symbolically, this poster is marking the PLO's redefinition of the relationship between the UN and the Palestinian liberation movement

They will teach you that colonialism was wrong.
Past tense.
Was.
A historical wrong that has been acknowledged and overcome and we have all moved on.
They will not teach you that the wealth transferred during colonialism continues to compound in the same institutions and countries that transferred it.
They will not teach you that the borders colonialism drew continue to produce the conflicts colonialism designed.
They will not teach you that the legal structures, the debt instruments, the intellectual property systems, the currency arrangements colonialism's successor institutions built, these are not a new order.
They are colonialism that learned to wear a suit.
Teaching you that colonialism was wrong is safe.
Teaching you that colonialism is ongoing requires a different verb tense and a completely different conclusion.
They teach colonialism in the past tense because the present tense would indict them.

🚨 MB Ghalibaf, Iran’s Parliament Speaker and head of negotiating delegation:
🔸We are not stronger than the United States in military power, that is basic math; it is clear that they have more money, equipment, and resources, and because they have invaded many countries and committed crimes around the world, they have more experience than us.
🔸The Zionist regime, which is the servant and agent of the U.S. in the region, also possesses great power.
🔸Sometimes we hear our dear people say that we destroyed them! We did not destroy them.
🔸But we are the winners on the battlefield in this war. Certainly, equipment, resources, and money are effective in war and victory, but it is not always the case. We fought an asymmetric war in such a way that, through our own planning and preparedness, we repelled the enemy.
🔸The enemy had money and resources but did not act with proper planning. They make strategic mistakes; they err in understanding our people just as they do in their military planning.
🔸The U.S. government claims that America comes first, but in practice, it has shown that Israel comes first because it makes decisions based on Israel’s misinformation.
🔸Sometimes I hear from our dear citizens and even national media that we have destroyed all their military power, so we should advance and destroy the rest and not negotiate. Here we need to pay attention: we have an advantage on the battlefield, and that is why Trump is requesting a ceasefire.

Araghchi’s tweet yesterday was meant to give an opportunity to Trump to deescalate and get out of the war.
But instead of understanding this and accepting the exit he’s been offered, he declared that the blockade on Iran will continue and tried to make it look like Iran has surrendered.
This is similar to what he did in Pakistan: he accepted Iran’s terms to get a meeting, but as soon as Vance got there, he demanded Iran’s surrender.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the Qana massacre, which occurred on 18 April 1996 when Israeli warplanes shelled a United Nations compound in Qana, southern Lebanon.
The attack killed 106 civilians, including a large number of women and children, and injured 116 others who had sought shelter inside the UN facility.
The strike took place during an Israeli military offensive in Lebanon at the time, and the compound was hosting displaced civilians fleeing attacks.
