I think I may have outdone myself with this project. A 3D Printed GOTO Telescope mount & four matching astrographs. Features two 5-stage belt drive reducers, zero* backlash, 0.5 arcsec per step and all printed on a @BambulabGlobal A1 Mini.
Updated photo of the printers you can expect to see at my booth for @3DPrintopia they should all be working. Most with Marlin 2.1.3b3+ or Klipper. Mostly limited to the power available. Cupcake shows signs that it will work once I fix the driver I blew up.
The Hangprinter simulator is taking shape. Here we reproduce in 2d:
- Infills with wiggle/resonance patterns
- Ringing after sharp corners
- Also artifacts along smooth curves (where one line flips slack/loose)
- Lost steps due to too sharp turn of corner (last secs of video)
