So now that you’ve made it this far in the post, I'm curious. If you were to re-invent personal cloud storage, what would it look like? How would it function? Would you still use the folder? How might AI play a role here? @graceful_io

As example, let’s take the “folder,” the foundational concept of storage. A friend and investor @arinewman surmised that the software folder dates back to the 60s with the shift from mainframes to Unix. Whether accurate, matters little. The folder is really old.

I got the dreaded and inevitable email from Apple today. “Your iCloud storage is full.” It offered to upgrade my family’s storage to 2TB for just $9.99 a month. I turned to my wife and sighed, “Honey, our clutter tax just went up.” 🧵 #cloudstorage

@arinewman It’s unrealistic to claim PMF at the waitlist stage. First money needs to change hands. Then engagement needs to remain consistent. Then come the reviews. With that said,10K waitlists is a great marketing funnel though.

This might be the stupidest branding move in the history of business. I give TW three months before they do a just kidding reversal.
