@sighswoon Reading this when I have quite literally just lost my voice and realizing I have to be extra selective with what I vocalize and get creative with communicating in other ways ahaaa it’s been so funny so far

First you speak to express yourself, find your voice. In this process of finding, you may accidentally speak in words that aren’t your truth at times, maybe you feel you have to, or that it “sounds better”. Regardless, any voice that’s not your own leads to clear detrimental results. Every time you fall into this, you have to patch it all up, like a hole in a raft. Returning to your voice is cathartic, important. Soon the returns get less and less. Your voice has crystallized into your throat in a way, it is more form than concept now. Then you begin to see that it is, and always has been, a tool. How you speak rules who you attract. Who stays, who leaves, what happens. Your voice begins to build your entire environment.
