How long does it take to become a logo designer? Here's my take: 1. If you're teaching yourself, expect to spend about 2 years to reach a beginner-to-intermediate level. This includes diligent study and practice. 2. With a good professional mentor, you can speed up the process and get there in about a year. But keep in mind, these time frames won't make you a pro. They’ll get you to an intermediate level where you understand the basics and can create decent logos. Mastery takes more time and experience.
