As I read the messages you’ve left for me, I feel so grateful, but at the same time, I also feel really sorry.
This is a decision I’ve been thinking about for months, so I thought I’d be somewhat calm about it, but now that today has actually come, I feel a lot sadder than I expected.
Memories of the times I’ve lived my life only moving forward and working hard since I was in elementary school keep coming back to me. I truly believed I had lived/worked harder than anyone else, but I guess the world doesn’t work out based on effort alone. Of course, there were probably ways I fell short as well.
As you go through life, there will be times when things don’t go the way you want, but when that happens, I hope you won’t hate yourself too much. I really hope you stay strong.
Thank you for making me shine all this time.
For a while, I think I’ll go through a dark and difficult period, but as time passes, I believe I’ll find my place again and live my life doing my best.
I wish I could have seen you all one last time, said goodbye face to face, and wrapped things up properly, but I’m truly sorry that I couldn’t.
