@PaulBaechtold you don’t understand the difference between 1A/2A basketball and 3A/4A basketball, do you? I’ve watched the 2A state runner up lose at home by to a 3A team that didn’t make it out of sectional. 2 completely different animals, but P4 D1 is light years away from any of them.

@BRamseyKSR not saying there’s not, but if a kid at Forest Park averaged 9/4 I doubt they’d even get consideration over a kid at THN that averaged a double double with 2 blocks a night. You could argue class system all you want, but nearly doubling in 2 statistics says everything

@BRamseyKSR @ind_nut a kid that averages 9 points/4 boards compared to a kid that scores 16 with 10 boards and 2 blocks or scores 14 with 7 boards and 2 blocks really shouldn’t be a question. but, the 9 ppg kids coach in a district rep, and that’s all that matters.

I don’t think I need to defend them. They were selected for a reason. The team is set. There are always going to be tough omissions and “worthy” kids who didn’t make it…but 18 are selected. Yes, the final two or three spots are up for grabs probably between 5-8 guys. Selections get made to the best of the committees ability.

@hunterrgray @ind_nut Names were provided, but names haven’t been removed. That’s the problem with Twitter suggestions…everyone else gets to lobby for their guy…they don’t have to face the music of REMOVING an equally deserving selection. Also, I don’t need to respond.

@ind_nut Evansville had a down year in terms of talent in 2027. They don't just get a placeholder, I'm sorry. I'm willing to listen if you want to provide a name that deserves it over a name that doesn't...if you can't do that then you probably aren't qualified for this discussion.

@mish43 @BRamseyKSR just did some research…at least 5 PAC kids deserve it more than the THN kid all due respect, but 9 points and 4 rebounds shouldn’t get an all star bid. Tait Wetzel, Kamdon Partenheimer, Jaxon Mckain, Kolton Schmitt and Reece Runyan all deserve nods if that’s the standard.

@BRamseyKSR My bad, my assumption was Junior all stars included any underclass players. Which would likely open up more can of worms for others. I’ll stick with Partenheimer tho
