A innocent Nigerian was invited to the Police (Ogombo Police Station) today, being 6th April 2026, being a public holiday, he had nothing to hide so he obliged. He was detained in the morning & since then till now they’ve refused to tell him the basis arrest. His lawyers got to the said station and requested to see the DPO, the said DPO refused to see his lawyers. WHY IS THE DPO HIDING? She later came out and instructed her officers to walk his lawyers out from the station. @PoliceNG @nigerianpolice @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1

🚨Well respected journalist Guillem Balague speaking on Arsenal… I couldn’t have said it any better! The quadruple Arsenal talk started in January if not before. That's setting an impossible bar that's been reached never in English football history. If they win the Premier League, that IS a massive success. Reaching the Champions League quarter-finals, on the back of the semis last year, IS success. They are growing. Comparing them to the greatest sides in history and then criticise them every time they fall short, more than holding them to high standards, is in my opinion just a way to deny them credit for what they're actually achieving. Having said that, the defeat to Southampton is certainly a disappointment. Both statements are true.

“This Experience Will Not Repeat Itself” - Another Presidential Promise fails in less than 24 Hours. Less than 24 hours after President Tinubu stood at the Jos Plateau State airport on April 2, 2026, and promised the grieving Nigerian citizens, “I promise you that this experience will not repeat itself,” another brutal attack occurred in Nyamgo Gyel, Jos South LGA, resulting in the deaths of several innocent citizens. Since then, and only a week following that reassuring promise from the President, Nasarawa State has been plunged into grief as the Akyawa and Udege Kasa communities fled for their lives after gunmen killed at least 11 people. Many homes were reduced to ashes, and numerous families remain missing. In Zamfara State, 150 innocent Nigerians were abducted from the Kurfa Danya and Kurfan Magaji communities in one of the largest mass kidnappings in recent times. On the same day of the Zamfara kidnappings, terrorists in Borno State stormed Chibok, killing four officers and burning down homes. Yesterday, on Easter Sunday, Benue State was rocked by violence again, with over 17 Nigerians massacred, entire communities left in ruins, and many individuals still unaccounted for. Today, in Kaduna State, several innocent citizens were killed by terrorists inside churches, with many others abducted in the Ariko community of Kachia LGA. Yet we were told, “This experience will not repeat itself.” This represents a failure of leadership and responsibility, and sadly, Nigerians are paying for it with their lives. These attackers are not ghostly figures; our inaction emboldens them. How can a President make such a categorical promise and, mere hours later, the nation continues to count the dead across multiple states? The primary responsibility of any government is to protect lives and property; however, this responsibility is failing today. Nigerians are being slaughtered in their homes, in their communities, and in the very places they should feel safest. Even the President did not enter these communities, so who is truly safe in Nigeria? This is a national emergency. Nigeria is bleeding, and the situation is worsening and increasingly helpless. A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Everyone has a problem with Arsenal Fans, I don’t get it, Do you want them to keep mute and not talk at all? Like they don’t have the right to say they want to win the league or UCL? I get you hate the Team, but saying their fans are delusional it’s a line that shouldn’t be crossed. why do you want them to be humble like it’s some Everton or Ipswich town? This is the 4th most Successful team in England and you’re saying they’re delusional because they want to win. Why’s Arsenal team such an Easy target.

🎙️🗣️ Patrice Evra on Arsenal fans: “The problem is not Arteta, not the owners, not the players, it's Arsenal fans. You are delusional." 🔙 🥴

Every time we get there’s an attack @HQNigerianArmy won’t be on site no matter how long the attack lasts, but once the victims decides to arm themselves for self defense, they begin to arrest them and parade them as terrorists. Every damn time, every fu*king damn time

I just read this about Peter Obi and how he worked with the Abacha government as a trader to fix the ports, and it made me nod my head. It speaks to a very deep truth that we often ignore in this country. In Nigeria, we are too used to people chasing "titles" and "power" just for the sake of it. But here is a case where a man was invited because he actually knew how the "dirt" of the business worked. He wasn’t there to play politics or sit in a big office; he was there as a concerned citizen to fix a problem that was strangling the livelihood of his fellow traders not like someone who is submitting CV to lobby for a post with Abacha all because of politics. Whether it is fixing a port in the 90s or solving a problem in your own business today, the principle is the same: Practical solutions always beat empty promises. You don’t need to be a "Politician" to lead; you just need to be a person of Standard who is tired of seeing things fail. If we had more people who were ready to bring simple, practical solutions to our streets and our economy, Nigeria would not be where it is today. Character is what you do when there is a job to be done, not when there is a vote to be won. That is the truth. Excellence is a habit, not a political position. This is crystal clear and some Nigerians are still ignorant about it! Do you believe we need more "Experts" or more "Politicians" in our government right now? Let’s hear your honest take in the comments.

🚨Peter Obi didn’t join Abacha’s government as a politician. He was invited, as a trader, to help fix delays at the ports. He did the job well by bringing simple, practical solutions. His focus was helping people and improving the economy, not politics.
