Agree. Met an older man randomly in a Washington-Dulles lounge two weeks ago ranting to himself about why juice is more expensive than water despite being unhealthy. I jokingly whispered to him “won fe ke mu juice dandan niyen sir”. He lol’d!
We were seated next each other on the flight to Lagos for about 12hrs and had some wonderful conversations – where I realized who he ACTUALLY is and why speaking to him would probably be one of the best things I do this year.

Already knew the other guy wasn’t Nigerian even before he mentioned it. No Nigerian in that class will even as much as properly respond to salutation from you (as a Nigerian), unless he knows you are in same income bracket as him.

N400 then was also difficult to come by for kids. My daily allowance was N30 around ‘03/04
Myself and 5 other friends would need about 2 weeks or more to pool N400. I’m not sure how much kids make these days, but I bet 8k would be steep for them as well.
