The New York Knicks won the recent NBA championship! Each player gets a $770,000 winning bonus. Super, you'd say! But that's not the full story. Staying in New York means they'll pay about $416,000 in taxes (federal, state, and local). So they take home roughly $354,000. Meanwhile, if you were with the Spurs in San Antonio and won? You'd pocket about $464,000, that's $110,000 more in your pocket. Reason? No state income tax in Texas.@⁨Victor Tawo⁩, Baba Vicko, abeg you fit help us confirm... 😃 I even hear they want more taxes in New York... What this means: Success gets taxed heavier in New York than in Texas. Hmmm! On a lighter note, maybe we should all jump into sports, the money's sweet! 😄 Still on ma lane. #Ewolewoo!

I see some people trying to drag Israel into the Iran-US peace deal. How exactly? Israel wasn’t even at the table, yet it was central to the actual fighting. Now Pakistan, which stayed out of the war, is allegedly playing facilitator and trying to smuggle Israel (Iran’s arch-enemy) into the deal by shielding Hezbollah. It won’t work. America’s interest here is largely economic. Israel’s is existential; pure survival. Those two don’t always align. Iran is clearly trying to get American guarantees to protect its Hezbollah proxy. Let’s not forget: Hezbollah dragged Lebanon into this war. Lebanon wasn’t involved until they did. People pretending otherwise are either naive or complicit. Iran and America can talk. But Israel alone will define what its security requires. Every nation has that right; Israel is no exception. If you want Israel in the peace, negotiate with them directly. Anything less isn’t serious. Still on ma lane. #Ewolewoo!

@Keir_Starmer Ok, when it's an anti-Muslim crisis you're ready to pull your weight.. Good! With the same intensity, let's ask: What's going on with the Muslim grooming gangs? You seem to want that to go away... It won't..

Absolutely appalling. No one should face violence on our streets. The suspect appears to be motivated by anti-Muslim hatred. I will not tolerate this - he will face the full force of the law. My thoughts are with those who are injured and I thank the police and the emergency services for their response. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@piersmorgan This Piers Morgan is a sick guy.. The interest in Netanyahu and Israel is criminally obsessive and quite frankly, dangerous. He is not interested that the death-cult Iranian leadership killed tens of thousands of their own people. Yet he's always attacking Israel? Fool!

But Israelis haven't "banished" Ben-Gvir and they won't. They made him their Minister of National Security and he rules the West Bank with his own private fascist militia. That's the true face of Israel, not the pleasant fantasy its loyalists want to spread. Israel is Ben-Gvir.

You're a psychopath. If Free Palestine could create Israeli villains to drive their propaganda they would create you. And yet, you are somehow real. The best thing Jews could do to fight antisemitism would be banishing you to some third world swamp.

@MegynKellyShow Meggyn?? How did this snitch of a woman enter Trump's orbit when she did all she could to end his first attempt? She tried to mess Trump up in the first debate.. If it were another candidate, that would be the end of his presidential run..

Trump says he doesn’t want war again, and they still attack him. When he threatened to bomb Iranian nuclear sites and civilization into the Stone Age, he was called reckless. Now that he’s pushing Iran to rejoin the committee of reasonable nations, they call him weak. No matter what he does, it’s never good enough. That’s unfortunate. Look, in war, you must have a clear goal. Trump’s goal was straightforward: Iran will not acquire a nuclear weapon. To enforce that, he and Israel destroyed the key nuclear facilities in Isfahan and Fordow. They decapitated the hardline leadership that made any serious negotiation impossible. Many of those figures are now six feet under. With the new leadership in place, he secured an agreement. Will Iran cheat again? Of course it’s possible, they’ve done it before. But it’s much harder now. Despite the madness of some of its leaders, Iran has over 90 million people to feed and an economy already in tatters. Continuing down the nuclear path under heavy sanctions and constant military pressure is not sustainable. Unlike hardcore warmongers who only want destruction, Trump is thinking about the day after. What happens to those millions of Iranians? How do you stabilise the region without creating another failed state? Making matters worse, practically all his supposed allies, EU nations and even some NATO partners, contributed nothing. Some silently rooted for him to fail. The media projected Iran as winning throughout the conflict. For the first time in American history, opposition figures at home attacked their own President during active conflict, with some openly cheering for American setbacks. It was a bizarre and dangerous spectacle. Trump knew Iran was reeling. He saw the Iranian economy collapsing. Yet large parts of the world were ready to pay $250 per barrel for oil just to prove he had “lost.” As President, he had to be realistic. He evaluated the best available options while fighting not just Iran, but also silent but powerful players at home and abroad. For Israel, the priority is different, they are fighting for survival. Any deal with Iran has no binding effect on them unless a separate agreement is reached. That’s understandable. Yes, this outcome may disappoint those who wanted Tehran reduced to rubble. But Trump had to secure a deal that serves America’s political and economic interests. There’s an election in November. He cannot hand his opponents, many of whom cheered for Iran, control of both the House and Senate. That would paralyse the rest of his presidency. The Positives Are Clear: Crude oil has crashed from over $120 per barrel at the peak of the conflict to around $76 now. In the coming weeks, petrol prices at the pump are expected to drop significantly. The multiplier effect on economies worldwide will be huge. The same man some called a warmonger is now delivering peace and lower energy prices. So what exactly is the problem? War is not about endless fighting; it is about achieving goals based on ground realities. Goals can shift when conditions change. I don’t understand the hullabaloo. Still on ma lane. #Ewolewoo!

Israel seems to be the only country that's told how to respond whenever she's attacked. No one tells Russia how to respond to Ukraine's attacks. Same to the Ukrainians.. But for Israel? She's analysed, scrutinized and blamed for the way she responds to attacks against her.. It seems the only acceptable scenario for some, though they're hiding it, is the eradication of the state of Israel..It's incredible! #Ewolewoo!!

Court Revokes Sowore’s Bail Over Failure To Appear At Trial Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has revoked the bail granted to the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore. Justice Umar revoked Sowore’s bail following his failure to appear in court for the continuation of his trial. At Tuesday’s proceedings, counsel for the prosecution, Kehinde Akinlolu, informed the court that Sowore was absent despite being aware of the scheduled hearing. Akinlolu urged the court to revoke the defendant’s bail, citing his failure to appear and his alleged persistent efforts to delay the trial. In his ruling, Justice Umar noted that although Sowore had written to the court seeking an adjournment, the letter did not provide any reason for the request. The judge subsequently revoked the bail and adjourned the matter until June 22 for hearing.
