Let's be honest Hunter X Hunter is no longer appealing to read Most pages are overloaded with: Explanations Internal monologues New mechanics Then suddenly Togashi introduces new rules or abilities mid-arc to “increase complexity” The readers feel like they’re decoding something genius but it's performative intelligence The narrative itself barely moves forward Too much dialogue Too little clarity No subtlety No real momentum And barely any satisfying payoff A chore to read

When a story needs to be explained, especially one as intricate as the succession war, there MUST be chapter’s like these. But if all your used to reading is manga’s that have 4 sentences per panel & tiktoks that grab ur attention in 5 seconds or less i can see why it’d be a problem for you. Challenge your mind though, read the war arc. Its excellent.

Hunter x Hunter is unreadable as a manga. Togashi is in the wrong medium. He should’ve been writing novels instead

💡Lost in Translation: When Luffy punches Imu, he yells “Konnyaro!” written in katakana. In Japanese, this is not the kind of phrase someone would use when consumed by extreme hatred. That choice of wording tells readers that Luffy’s anger still has not reached its absolute peak.
