You’re clueless. The gentleman was asked a very subtle, yet qualifying question in message 1 (aircraft size or type). Inability or lack of knowledge to answer was red flag number #1. Cost estimate was given in message 2, in this case 20x commercial estimate - what he was asking for would start around $60k on the low side. I’d rather quickly unqualify and dedicate my time to my already established book of business or other qualified leads. We have to protect our time, this is not a charity nor inexpensive.

If you’re flying on demand / ad hoc , flights that cost 20k 30 days ago now run 25k. The shock to the upside is always quick and normalization back to ‘regular’ pricing may take months if not til 2027. Silver lining here is that the douchebags have been weeded out of the market, the discount flyer is gone (for now).
