The best #PUBGEsports (offline championship) format was FACEIT Global Summit 2019 (replicated at PGS 2019?). Should've just stuck with it. Easy to understand, fair as could be while also not 'too long '. Also, this thread is a solid 10/10.

@FaZe_jeemzz Having this long tournaments for a 3 day final is still insane to me. Unless you make pubg your entire life you're not really able to play professionally. During covid it made sense at least, but how it's still a thing is wild to me

Why are tournaments 3-4 weeks long when they could be 10 days? Land, media day, day off/training, GS, GS, UB, LB, day off/training, GF, GF, GF. Stop with the long tournaments its not hype to watch, its fatiguing for the players. Stick to super, dont something new.

Few things that makes pubg worse to play and watch (in my opinion) -Panzers and mortars (0 skill and counterplay, removes playable area on the map) -Emergency pickups (the most overpowered and RNG item in the game, find one and u dont have to use your brain, 0 skill)

@Scoom Picked the right time to retire it seems, TPP is a snooze fest. I can't see it (even with a pubg 2.0 launch) doing anything but harm to both the western viewership and player count

The future of PUBG TPP/FPP has me worried. *PUBG asking pro players what they feel about tpp. *CEO asking korean players this year on their opinion of tpp. *Twitch rivals in tpp *Koreans recently doing a lot of scrims in tpp *Asians also doing tpp race tournament like twitch rivals (altho they normally do tpp stuff anyways) Supposedly rumors of not only esports gna go tpp but also the future of PUBG going fully tpp (maybe for pubg 2.0?)
