We need to reinvent medicine. Doctors will become more like caregivers as AI becomes better at pattern recognition and its access to a much larger, ever-evolving knowledge base increases in both speed and volume. Doctors will need to be more human. More empathetic. More like sport guides than technicians.

I genuinely appreciate your POV. I held this position, but Iran has had continued to be the terrorizer. Mid we went a consumer economy mkay e we could turn the over way. In the same way it’s in our best interest to create data centers, it is in our interest to push down Iran.

A lot of traditional conservatives voted for Obama in 2008 because they were disgusted with pointless foreign wars and a collapsing economy. It would be nice to think people learned lessons from that. But that is expecting too much of people in DC.

Anyone with the means, will be able to get this reduced or dismissed entirely. Why not focus on facts over fiction?

I have experienced this personally through family members, so trust me, I have no sympathy for people’s demons when it comes to law. We have the judiciary for that. Still, the people this gentleman is making is that it neither benefits the law nor the Individual.

@intetestedparty I take no pleasure in people’s addictions. I actively try to get them sober but if it were NY it would stand up in court…maybe not Florida. While I know people have their demons doesn’t change the fact that if he was under the influence he put the community at risk.

The court will strike it down. I promise you now, this will go nowhere. It make you feel good, but it is a poor use of my tax dollars to prosecute a billionaire because he refused a urine test. It might even undermine the more obvious charge that he was at fault Law matters.

@intetestedparty This is about the law as well as accountability. The police conducted field sobriety tests on scene and made the expert conclusion he was under the influence so arrested him. Once it’s in court it’s for his attorney to dispute the officers decision and the DA to prove it.

Mike, you are talking about accountability, not law. I am nearly 35 years in the world you claim to be immersed in… it doesn’t matter. The law is absolute. I hope society helps these people, but the law is set already and my opinion doesn’t matter.

As someone who was raised clinical psychologist —and unfairly around seriously addicted people as a result — I agree. But that isn’t how the law works. The law protects the innocent. It doesn’t guarantee the guilty are put away at the expense of the innocent.

@intetestedparty Buddy I work with addicts daily. I can tell immediately when someone’s under the influence.

That isn’t how the law or your right work. You have absolutely no proof he was high. That is the point. A urine test could show positive even if he took a Vicodin three weeks before. People do actually end up in accidents without impairment.
TheRealSalDePaol🅰️@DepaolaSal

@intetestedparty It doesn’t matter. He was fucking high and could have killed someone. He shouldn’t be driving. That’s the damn point. The guy is worth a fortune. Get a damn driver.
