We no longer expect Ball Mountain Dam in Jamaica, Vermont and Townshend Dam in Townshend/Windham, Vermont to release large amounts of water over the spillways in the next 48 hours. Water will still be released from the dams, but in smaller amounts than previously anticipated.

I think about billionaires a lot (kinda my job?) so let me say this:
Most every billionaire on the planet would happily kill you for an extra few points on their investment. This isn't theoretical, it literally happens. They literally make decisions they know will kill people.
