@privofmari i use niri as my window manager and quickshell with noctalia dots for my bar + osd and stuff cachyos' installer gives you tons of options, all of which are pretty much pre-configured, including niri+noctalia

@privofmari im using cachyos :> it's arch-based and very optimised, and also has gaming-specific packages (and comes with pre-configured DEs and tiling WMs)!! oh uhm de = desktop environment stuff like kde plasma, gnome, xfce, mate, &c

turns out my cpu heating issues were JUSt because cachy was on high performance mode. i use it on power saving mode and i can play 60 fps on rivals just fine. crazy.
