There’s only one way in which this war could act as a trigger for the Nifty to start another bull run and touch 30k quickly. If the war worsens and continues in an even uglier manner for just 3 more months, we will start seeing many economic problems. For example: supply chain destruction, inflation in every category, an oil crisis, low demand, low consumption, etc. In that case, central banks all over the world, including the RBI, would start cutting interest rates rapidly to avoid a deep recession. What happens when interest rates are cut rapidly? The economy grows like never before, and the stock market turns into a rocket. This same scenario happened during COVID, due to which the nifty gave 214% returns in just 5 years, which is a CAGR of approximately 25%. Now, again, to protect the economy from an economic collapse, central banks will step in and cut interest rates heavily. It’ll bring in liquidity and trigger our stock market to start a fresh bull run, touching 30k before you even get a chance to enter. This is also the biggest irony ever because it’ll be coming out of a war. From a bunch of bad things, at least we will have one good thing.
