Jack looked up at the man he- the man he loved. Then, tears pouring down his face, he opened up the box of matches. 'That’s it Jack,' Ianto grinned. He held his arms aloft and laughed. 'Bring it on!'

Ianto swigged the rest of the beer and belched. Jack laughed. ‘Oh if i’d ever doubted it was you…’ ‘But you don’t, do you? Ianto wanted to know partly because Jack's trust was important to him, and partly because he didn’t want to wake up in a cell.

JACK: You shouldn’t be here. IANTO: Neither should you.

As she left the room, Jack looked at Ianto. 'I never underestimate anyone on this team. Do they really think that I do?' Ianto gave a shrug. He hated this conversation. Permutations of it had arisen a few times recently.

ORR: Jack, there's still time. The further away you are- JACK: I am not going. ORR: Very well, will you at least let me be him for you? You're doing your very best to hide him from sight, but there was one. A young man, Handsome. I can be him for you. A parting gift if you will.

‘Sorry, didn’t see you there.’ He waggled a freshly rinsed coffee pot at them. ‘I was about to get fresh.’ Jack smiled at this comment. He shrugged off his coat, and draped it over the rail.

‘I meant ‘yes, I am kidding you’.’ Jack clucked in disapproval, but he was smiling. Ianto smiled back.

JACK: Ianto? No no no no you can't be in here.

JACK: Then she has to be isolated. Her future knowledge is too dangerous. IANTO: That's a bit hypocritical, Jack. You're pretty gung-ho with the time-line yourself. JACK: I am much more responsible these days.

Other Staff issues: Ianto is still suffering, but putting on a brave face. Will try talking to him over dinner, outside the Hub, see if there's anything more I can do for him.

JACK: And it's a good thing I didn't. You were starting to believe him. IANTO: What? JACK: I can see it in your eyes. MANDY: What can you see, Jack? JACK: Hope. Hope in his eyes for the first time since the day before Lisa died.

‘Never eat something that comes in a bucket!’ he shouted to her. ‘And he's not talking about chicken,’ Ianto added. ‘Gentlemen, please,’ said Gwen.

Ianto, you’ve anticipated my need for something warm and wet.’ Ianto rolled his eyes theatrically. ‘Very amusing, sir. I should have guessed that, whatever I say, you’ll always want to top me.’ ‘You wish,’ Jack told him.

IANTO: That's it, we're getting him out of there JACK: No, that's the last thing you'll do. Too late anyway, it's done, I am riding this thing through to the end. No other choice.

‘Come on, Ianto, get a move on,’ said Jack Harkness. He wriggled in the driver's seat of the SUV. ‘My ass is going to sleep here.’ ‘I know,’ muttered Ianto Jones. ‘I heard it snoring.’
