So, had my Dat Bike Quantum for about 2 weeks now. Observations: - Great battery life - Quick charging - Stiff suspension...like, too stiff, not comfortable at all - No range anxiety... easy to charge anywhere - Seat angle is weird, feel like constantly falling forward 1/3

It's easy to be skeptical that countries are taking little action on climate change. This isn't true. Looking at the shift in our trajectory in just a few years tells a different story. I looked back at the past 6 years of @climateactiontr projections 👇

Take your pick — rapid decarbonization now, which has $$$ up front, or pay far more later in damage to the global economy, according to a new analysis. (-$178 trillion w/ 3°C warming vs. $43 trillion in benefits with under 2°C) axios.com/2022/05/23/rep…

Grateful to have spent #ImpactDay at @Green_Dot working with @FemiliPNG on their social media strategy. Such an impressive group doing incredibly important work in #PNG assisting survivors of family and sexual violence.

@heeney_luke Great analysis @heeney_luke - speaking of that waterfall chart, just checking that orange section is Tech Investment Roadmap + ‘Global technology trends’? Don’t forget there is a sneaky carbon price in there… not just R&D spending

This is the fundamental problem with the Government's net-zero Plan. It should be called out. We cannot claim to revolutionize global low-carbon technologies by ourselves.

hi a few people in the Australian public policy x #rstats world have started a group to chat/learn/etc about using R in public policy. We’ve just launched the Slack workspace, so if you’re into both of those things, get in touch!

I'm chasing some good books / articles on intergenerational inequality. Bonus points for Australian examples. Even more bonus points for post 2010 case studies. Any ideas?
