@jaybaj15 @senkitaisen @WYLDERSSWORD I never said that, though. It's clever and complex body horror that abstracts relatable imagery to create a visceral sense of shock in the player. I just don't think it's 'about women' any more than Alien is about male rape. It's body horror.

@senkitaisen Almost all of the significant imagery in the game is related to birth and menstruation. You consume UMBILICAL CORDS to be able to meet a great one (moon presence who is also a reference to femininity). They’re literally smacking you in the face with it but you’re just dumb
