Janet Mills, at the center of a network of Chinese marijuana traffickers whom the U.S. Department of Homeland Security have linked to Asian Transnational Criminal Organizations. We first reported on Paul Mills' involvement in a bizarre real estate deal that transferred an illicit cannabis grow to a Chinese national living in Guangdong Province, China, back in 2024. Since then, Mills has continued to facilitate real estate deals involving out-of-state cannabis entrepreneurs, including a cluster of Chinese growers who’ve opened up shop within miles of his home in New Sharon.
