I watched the full interview twice because I couldn’t believe that Sky News would air a 7:37-minute edited interview about Lebanon, with a full crew and producers who must have reviewed it, without mentioning Hezbollah ONCE. Forget bias against Israel. Forget that the headline “Lebanon Bombardment” is, at best, half the story. What kind of journalism is this? This piece, like much of Sky News’ coverage, creates a made-up reality in which Israel is bombing Lebanon for no apparent reason, indiscriminately. What about the terror group that has called for Israel’s destruction since 1982 and effectively taken control of the country? What about the fact that Hezbollah launched an unprovoked attack on October 8, 2023, and again in March 2026, while a ceasefire was still in effect? What about the Lebanese people and government, who say they want nothing more than to see Hezbollah lose power, yet know they can’t achieve it alone? @SkyNews, do you honestly believe your viewers received truthful, accurate information from this piece? Are these your standards of journalism?

Wow I didn’t know that being a pro tennis player also qualifies you as an expert on the laws of war! The truth is you cannot possibly know that it’s “a war crime” just as I cannot know from looking at a short clip of an airatrike. Do you even know what constitutes a war crime? Do you know what differentiates a legal strike from an illegal strike? Proportionality, distinction, and a military advantage. You cannot possibly know what went into the evaluation and determination of this strike — but the IDF legal team does, and they evaluate all strikes on the basis of the laws of armed conflict. So maybe shut up and educate yourself before you spew stupid shit like this on the internet. You don’t look moral, you just look stupid. You don’t even have to agree with Israel’s tactics to criticize such action… but when you get on social media and make definitive statements which you know NOTHING about, you are only fanning the flames of tensions for no actual positive purpose. It’s not what the Geneva Conventions say, but who cares? In John’s world even if you work for Hizballah and are buried in a Hizballah-flag-draped coffin (as happened here), killing you is a war-crime. Britain’s national broadcaster has become a national embarrassment. For those interested in what the Geneva Conventions say, have a read of what is known as Protocol I, adopted on 8th June 1977 as an addition to the Geneva Conventions of 12th August 1949. At article 79.2 it states that journalists are protected so long as they “take no action adversely affecting their status as civilians” and at article 51.3 it states more generally that “Civilians shall enjoy the protection afforded by this Section, unless and for such time as they take a direct part in hostilities.” John’s is not giving us analysis, he’s trotting out propaganda. Who’d have imagined it, from the man who days ago was telling us what a soft spot he had for the IRGC’s Ali Larijani? John also seems to have had “a sneaking kind of liking” for Saddam Hussein, found Colonel Gaddafi “quite pleasant”, and Bashar Al Assad didn’t really mean it, he was just “anxious to please”. The BBC’s new Director General, Matt Brittin, really has his work cut out.

Incredibly, you have to get to paragraph 21 to find out why a Jew or an Israeli might have a problem with Al Jazeera reporting in Golders Green on an anti-Semitic attack. But to add insult to injury in yet more shameless reporting from the BBC - the accusation that Al Jazeera is a mouthpiece for Hamas is in quotation marks. There is no reason the BBC can’t explain here that this is completely true. That Al Jazeera is run and funded by Qatar, who are ideologically aligned with Hamas, fund the Jihadist death cult & host their leaders. This could be clarified here. It isn’t. Al Jazeera had exclusive access to all of Hamas’ Al Qassam videos from Gaza before anyone else. All of the clips of Hamas fighters in civilian clothes from residential areas were shown on Al Jazeera first. So were all the hostage videos too. Surely the BBC can clarify this?! Will never happen. Pathetic journalism.

Wanna know the scariest part of all this? Even if they are caught: 1. The CPS will deliberate for months about whether to charge them 2. The courts won't find space to hear the case for two years 3. Since October 7, the Jewish community in England has been under sustained attack. Hatred has been normalised. Jews have been demonised, delegitimised, and pushed to the margins of society. And this is where it leads. These ambulances belonged to Hatzola Northwest, a volunteer Jewish emergency service providing 24/7 lifesaving care, parked beside a synagogue. Targeted because they serve Jews and others. No doubt government and non-Jewish leaders will now feign shock, visit the site, and pledge support, as they did after the Manchester terrorist attack. But you cannot claim to stand with the Jewish community while allowing this climate to fester - while antisemitism and Islamist extremism are tolerated, excused and ignored. Jewish life in the UK is being made to feel unsafe. Young Jews like me are questioning our future here - knowing it’s not a matter of if the next attack comes, but when. The sad truth is that we are “lucky” it was ambulances, not people. But even that reveals everything. We build. We save lives. We choose life - as my great-grandmother did after Auschwitz. They choose destruction. We will rebuild. We will continue. The question is whether we will be able to do so here in the UK.

Today, we went to see the racist exhibit in Margate - having been alerted to this by @realzoestrimpel's experience yesterday. What we saw sickened us - we will share evidence of the hate on display. But first - here is the curator calling out 'globalise the Intifada'. And Kent police gaslight us with the lie that this hate isn't antisemitism. They may be ignorant to what hatred towards Jews looks like. But we're not.

Update on David Collings exhibit at Margate’s Joseph Wales gallery. Kent police sergeant just called. He told me: no action to be taken. The pictures (a few below) are in his view ‘criticism of the Israeli state’. He said ‘because some Israelis happen to be Jews it doesn’t mean it’s antisemitic’. He said: ‘you’re obviously very passionate’. (Thereby dismissing my complaint). I tried to tell him that he was perhaps not best judged to evaluate antisemitic content if his view was that this was not ‘Nazi imagery’ but ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ and could he possibly send someone who knew more about this stuff. ‘No police officer is an expert in racism’, he told me, oddly. I gave him some friendly, if ‘passionate’ advice: sometimes ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ overlaps with anti-Semitic content and incitement. This is one such case. I’ll be complaining - please join in. Case 21-0938 I always want to believe the best of the polite agents of the law on the other end of the phone. But this well-spoken man telling me that hail of swastikas and blood and Jews was nothing but ‘criticism of the Israeli state’ is why we are where we are, why Jews don’t expect anything from the police, and how we find tha Kent police are exactly in tune with Matthew Collings.

I’m an admirer of Jonathan’s writing but sorry I think this is a cowardly piece. Many excellent points are made, many groups are rightly called out for their Jew-hate or complicitness, but GB News get mentioned twice, because they fulfilled their remit and platformed a far left voice (which isn’t mentioned, implying this came from the right). Anecdotal this may be, and of course people would come up and say this me, but at school, events, shul, nearly every Jew I meet says they only watch GB News now because it’s the only channel that doesn’t go out of its way to gaslight and lie about Israel and Jews. To repeatedly highlight the channel, as though it’s part of why Jews are being attacked, is just total bullshit. To do it in the context of the years of lies about Israel and Jews from his own organisation, even with the slight dig at the most recent disgusting Guardian article, is almost comical. But the main problem I have, is how on earth is it possible to write hundreds of words on the recent avalanche of attacks on Jews in the diaspora, calling out everyone under the sun supposedly responsible, and yet NOT ONCE mention Islam/Islamists/Islamic extremists?! It’s cowardice, it’s a deliberate muddying of reality, and I’m fucking sick of it.
