🚨 Rick Rule @RealRickRule just dropped a masterclass on mining M&A on @MiningStockEdu with @Junior_Stock G Mining’s buy of G2 Goldfields? $1 BILLION in synergies from one unified district. Both stocks ripped higher. This is how M&A is supposed to work. Agnico building a gold empire in Finland with 25-30 year mine life thinking. Meanwhile, he’s warning: Lithium is NOT scarce — 150-200 deposits fighting for just 5-6 that will actually get built. Most will get wrecked. Uranium? Middle East shocks = massive energy-security tailwind. Nuclear is the only fuel dense enough for real independence. Rick Rule at his best — wisdom, numbers, and zero hype. Congratulations on your good call! I’ve been following the Oko District for a while now: I think Tajiri’s Yono project is the next piece of the puzzle for GMIN - the market loves consolidation move - GMIN’s market cap is up about C$1.36 Billion since the deal was announced April 9 - that plus the synergies from not having to build a separate mill for G2’s Oko Main Zone of about C$1 Billion, kinda means they got G2 for free!

@northernminer @G2Goldfields @GMiningVentures Last week’s news, guys! :) Love your newspaper, longtime subscriber - here’s the next story for you: I predict GMIN acquires Tajiri’s Yono property! The essential donut hole in the middle of the Oko District: $GMIN.to $GTWO.to $TAJ.v

Good luck in your quest, and congrats on your prescience on G2! Am I correct in understanding that you’ve completed all the geology course work (congrats!) and just need some time being mentored on the job? And you’re nicely set up after your big win on the G2 acquisition… sounds really great: where’d you study, and what languages do you speak well enough to fit in on the job? It’s great you’ve been following Oko - think GMIN will do a deal on Tajiri’s Yono property, do you know it? An overlooked gem in the heart of the Oko district:

Here’s why someone like me could be a strong addition to a geological tea - Lifelong passion + formal studies in geology/mining/metallurgy - Real-world understanding of what drives discovery and development success - Already deeply familiar with assets like Oko.

After calling $GTWO.to early at ~C$0.30 in 2020 (now $GMIN C$3B acquisition at C$10.84/share, 35x!), I'm formalizing my 30-yr geology passion. I’m trying to get my professional geologist license. Looking for geology/field tech roles to get my supervised experience. Dm me!

Nice to see your post from way back, Alex! I’ve been following Oko since 2020 or so… Now that G2 and GMIN are combining, it’ll be easier for $LUG to make a deal - do you think they might be interested? For a true district consolidation, they’ll have to include Tajiri’s Yono property: $GTWO $GMIN $TAJ

Nice post! I hadn’t heard that Lundins were looking at the Oko District! Very interesting: now that GMIN and G2 are combined, it’s simpler for Lundin to make a deal, it’ll be interesting to see how it all shakes out…. They’ll need Tajiri’s property for a proper consolidation, of course!

That’s awesome, good for you - Followed! Next I think GMIN will buy Tajiri’s Yono property, to completely consolidate the Oko District: - Strategic enclave position: Yono (122 hectares) is a complete inlier fully surrounded by the now-consolidated GMIN + G2 land package. The maps in the GMIN-G2 news release explicitly highlight this "small white permit area." Pit shells and high-grade zones from both sides approach within 90–170 m (and sometimes closer) of Yono's boundary, with structures and contacts clearly extending into or across it. - Operational necessity for GMIN/G2: As discussed, water management (Yono Creek), pit optimization for deeper mining (e.g., 600 m+ scenarios or Border Zone), waste/haul road access, and avoiding sterilization of adjacent ounces make control of Yono highly desirable. Tajiri's own NI 43-101 and press releases note that mining the neighboring deposits "could be very challenging and restrictive" without Yono access. - Brownfield exploration upside: Recent Tajiri results (trenching and auger) show coherent gold mineralization directly analogous to the neighbors

Yes, Faheem, a great result for GTWO! This acquisition really puts Oko on the map globally, and that’s good for Altair (of course!) and also Tajiri, a $50M junior with the Yono property, right in the middle of Oko:

@JuriMontana Oh man, hate when that happens! You can still play the district, tho - I think GMIN will want to do a deal for Tajiri’s Yono property, smack dab in the middle of Oko.

I agree, Sam - Guyana’s Oko District is *uniquely* valuable because of its Tier-1 jurisdiction, fast permitting, and growth potential: already at 8.9M oz and that’s only including resources down to 500-600m…. If GMIN really wants to control the Oko District they’ll be looking at Tajiri’s Yono project, smack dab in the middle:

No it doesn't. G2 had one of the very few high quality orebodies worth developing. There are definitely some goodies in Canada too, but be very careful valuing your junior crap-co's at the same multiple G2 just received. Ps. Congrats to Dan, Patrick and team. Amazing outcome

G Mining Ventures: Acquired G2 Goldfields with a 72% premium for $10.64 CAD share. They paid $2B or $500 per oz at 4M oz. Do you realize what this implies? If gold prices trend higher, all of those large development projects in Canada are worth a fortune. 😳 juniorminingnetwork.com/junior-miner-n…

👀 on : Altair Minerals (ASX: ALR) sits directly adjacent to — and strategically surrounds/extends — the newly consolidated Oko gold assets of the G Mining Ventures (GMIN / GMINF) + G2 Goldfields (GTWO / GUYGF) merger in Guyana. The two companies just announced (April 9, 2026) an all-stock acquisition valued at ~$3 billion (C$3B) in which G Mining Ventures is acquiring G2 Goldfields. This creates a single Tier-1 Oko Project by combining two adjacent deposits on the same geological structure: G Mining’s fully permitted Oko West Project (5.9 Moz @ 2.2 g/t Au) and G2’s Oko-Ghanie Project (OMZ + Ghanie, 3.2 Moz @ 4.0 g/t Au). Together they represent ~9 Moz of gold on ~5 km of drilled strike along the Oko Shear Zone. Altair’s Greater Oko Project (590 km² land package, up to 70% earn-in) is the third and largest player on this exact same emerging Oko Shear corridor. Key points from Altair’s own positioning and recent disclosures: • Geographic proximity: Altair’s South Oko target sits only ~1.5 km from G Mining’s Oko West deposit and ~3.5 km from G2’s discoveries. The G2 and G Mining resources lie outside Altair’s tenements but share the identical geology and Oko Shear Contact Zone. • Scale advantage: Altair controls 5× the land size and 3× the strike length (~15–16 km of Oko Shear) compared with the combined drilled-out portions of G2 + G Mining’s projects. It has four major untested targets (South Oko being one), with strong soil anomalies and magnetic highs that mirror the signatures that led to the existing discoveries. • Exploration stage: Altair is the third company in history to drill the Oko Shear (after G Mining/Reunion and G2). It already has standout intercepts at South Oko and North Peters (e.g. 262 m @ 1.6 g/t Au incl. 38 m @ 8.5 g/t; 43 m @ 10.6 g/t from surface) and is fully funded for ~15 km of diamond drilling in 2026. In short: G Mining + G2 (post-deal) now own the producing-scale resources on the central ~5 km of the shear. Altair owns the much larger surrounding exploration ground (5× area, 3× strike, 16 km untested) with identical geology — effectively the “monopoly of exploration ground” around the new tier-one hub. This positions Altair as the logical next-door neighbor (and potential partner or takeover target) in what is rapidly becoming Guyana’s biggest new gold district.
