Helios Fairfax Partners accepted an offer of Sh388m for its 56.3% stake in Ascendant Learning Ltd, the parent company of Nova Pioneer Schools. Helios had invested an aggregate of Sh5B for the 56.3% stake. Nova Pioneer has a network of 8 schools in Kenya and 10 in South Africa.

In what seems like a mix of romance, betrayal, and an episode of Campus Affairs Uncensored, a Murang’a University student has singlehandedly managed to end a lecturer’s career using three tools: food, Ikus, and feelings. The now jobless lecturer, Mr. Kipng’etich, who believed he had found booty call in lecture halls, decided to invite the student for a Netflix & extra Curriculum weekend special. According to court documents, this wasn’t just any sleepover, it was a three-day marathon where books were closed and legs opened. Day 1: Gentleman vibes. Kipng’etich cooked dinner, the girl showered, and syllabus coverage started,, man to woman electricity transmission through horizontal engineering. Day 2: No food, no foreplay. Straight to action. Energy saved from cooking was invested in bedroom practicals. Day 3: Raw session. No barriers, no budget. All hell broke loose when the real girlfriend was introduced. The student froze, mouth open like someone who just saw her GPA drop in real-time. Now feeling used and emotionally overdrawn, the student filed a complaint to the university & our bwooy was relieved of his duties without a salary. Kipng’etich, feeling betrayed by both the girl and gravity, rushed to the Labour Court crying unfair dismissal! But the court, after reading his affidavit, probably chuckled too before dismissing the case with a gavel and a side-eye. But let’s be honest, our boy alionewa God one? If day one traumatized her, why come back on day two like it’s a series? She was in love with the meat and the marks. Don't blame the Yamune predator, blame the Sexually Transmitted Grades economy. In the end, Kipng’etich learned the hard way that not every student is edible, and not every moan is a compliment. Some campus babes confuse master's students for lecturers,, only to find out the guy is just a glorified CAT photocopier. Imagine offering your thighs to someone who's struggling to afford airtime. When I was doing my master's, my Proff used to give me gigs to go & give CATs to students. I also taught for some time before my libido almost sent me to Sayuni prematurely & broke my matrimonial home. My advice to campus women is to keep your syllabus in the classroom and your libido on airplane mode. Campus is not Quivers, and not everyone in glasses is a professor. May Yehova Wanyonyi remember his poor boychilds who are dating campus women.

I thank President Ruto for having given me an opportunity to serve as Cabinet Secretary for Investments, Trade and Industry for 11 months, Public Service, Delivery and Performance Management for 9 months and Senior Evomomic Advisor for the last 10 months. As I move on to pursue personal interests I am proud of the work the President and I did to implement the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda which I designed together with the President as our 2022 Electoral Platform.
