If you were to ask me, this is one of the most disappointing things to come out of the whole Pressure situation. Zerum is someone who I’ve personally known and used to be friends with back in 2024, and she was always extremely nice to me. We didn’t interact a huge amount, but even looking back at our old dms w each other (im not gonna share any more than this because I respect privacy) Back then I was 13-14 and was really childlike yet Zerum was always being kind, polite and respectful to me all the time. However, seeing Zerum act like this a lot recently has been quite shocking. I mean, first of all, look at the stuff she’s been saying on her strawpage. She claims to be black as a justification for saying the N word, yet in Dec 2024 she literally tweeted a photo of herself holding a Makeship bag, and you just can look at the photo for yourself because I don’t even need to explain further. The word on its own wouldn’t be a big deal to me personally, but it would be to others, and her blatantly LYING about herself is really strange to say the least. Additionally on her strawpage she previously left a message saying she was supporting Zeal, aka an alleged r*pist, before then completely switching up. Claiming that she supported Ren and didn’t support Zeal, and claiming it was because her strawpage got hacked. I mean come on gurl. Additionally Zerum made a post on twitter expressing support to Ren yet she literally had Ren blocked at the same time??? I mean, imagine making a public apology to a victim of SA while having them blocked. This just labels Zerum as someone who is performative and cares more about how the internet thinks of her rather than actually caring for victims such as Ren. Furthermore, Ren claims that Zerum has allegedly abused other victims for “art and labor, and paying them nothing”, and “Zerum had forced artists to draw things for her for free constantly, and manipulated them.” I haven’t seen much evidence of this yet but we have to wait till the document comes out for us to come to a conclusion about that. Zerum was someone who, in the past, I always thought of as a good person and had mutual respect for her, based on OUR own interactions with each other and my positive experience with her. Even after I lost contact w her after the Pressure team unfairly cut off w me in 2025 (which I covered in a different tweet from a few days ago. Don’t wanna repeat myself here) that was very painful, but I still respected Zerum. I heard about stuff such as the Sebastian drama which happened in 2024, yet I always thought of it as the community being petty and obsessed over a character rather than something that Zerum did wrong, without even thinking about it too much. But the fact that everything I’ve mentioned earlier stands, makes me SO fucking disappointed in her. She went from one of the nicest people I knew in the Pressure team to an absolute scumbag. I am SO DISAPPOINTED. I am crushed. I’m sorry if I’m sounding weird but imagine knowing someone who was a wonderful person ages before the fame, only to see them get more and more twisted as they become more and more popular. Since late 2024 I’ve been seeing all the people on the internet hating on Zerum, saying horrific stuff and death threats, labelling her as a horrible person. And all this being said to someone who you’ve known to not be what these people are describing them… Only for your own experience to get absolutely blown out of the fucking water and realising that all of this hate is justified. Because the person who you once knew to be a good person, ends up being anything but that. I am truly and utterly heartbroken by Zerum’s actions and I do not stand by them at all. I don’t want her being harassed, but at the same time her own actions are equally, if not more, deplorable. A like&retweet and a follow would be appreciated. And Zerum, please do better.
