Who else feels this? Twitter isn’t a platform anymore. It’s a dumping ground for bots, trolls, and misinformation chasing engagement for payment. Honestly, the only reason I haven’t deleted the app is because of the few good humans still pushing back against all the madness! Cheers!

The disconnect between social media and real life has never been more stark. Before during the "I hate Trudeau" era, you'd see the odd flag or gear someone mock him or whatever.... But, outside of Twitter, nobody dislikes Carney. Nobody is talking about him. Nobody is falsely blaming him for every problem they have. Here, it's all hatred and vitriol. Spite. Anger... They difference? Most of the hatred is misinformation pushed out by people who are monetizated and get paid by the click to spew this garbage. It's so clear.

I had 7 sixth-grade boys come in while I was working, and they wanted to order wings. They asked if they had enough money to cover 40 wings and pops. I looked around, confused — wondering where their parents were. I asked if they were alone, and they said, 'Yes, and we’ve been looking forward to this for weeks!' They were so excited and were EXTREMELY polite the whole entire time, using please and thank you and trying to make it as easy as possible for me to get their order. They even told me they’d tip well 😂. It was touching to see how much the children were trying to behave well, even when there were no parents around to scold them. One of the boys even asked his friend to get off the phone while I was talking to them. They were so good that a neighboring customer ended up picking up their tab and telling them to pay it forward. I just wanted to give big props to the parents of these boys — keep doing what you’re doing!! Pictured is how they left the table.
