@LittleLauraMcK @mooresam1 Exactly. I want to clean up to find active churches, and then folks can determine if they want to plant in an area, I hope with conversation. In a few weeks I’ll petition a bit of help in counties to help see what’s no longer there, or what I’ve missed.

@jonnypollock @mooresam1 Makes sense. People looking at a certain area in particular can then do more of their own research to see what is actually going on, what's active and what's maybe not any more.

Finally listed and spreadsheeted the 568 non-RC churches I can find in the Republic of Ireland… Aaaaaaaand…… relax….

@LittleLauraMcK @mooresam1 The map will be able to be filtered but CoI is a hard one because there appears a lot of fracturing at present. But any limiting requires a sense of ecclesiological decisions that I want others to make if you know what I mean?

@jonnypollock Himself thinks you might double that number then! We have no personal connections that would help but I'm wondering if someone like @mooresam1 might be able to point you in the right direction?

@LittleLauraMcK Not at the minute. They are my last pass. It’s a HUGE dataset and I need to determine which are still active. If you know anyone who could help with this it would be appreciated!

@LittleLauraMcK Even if we disagree on certain issues, it should hopefully at least provide a platform for conversation before planting. Although, it will also provide plenty of places where there are large areas with no churches at all! My hope is that it will stir us towards that!

@LittleLauraMcK I think we all have different levels of ecclesiological criteria, but if we are being as generous as we can be, there are more than 10! The map will allow folks to draw their own lines... thus keeping me from any trouble! 😂
