Was there a book you read as a child that has stayed with you? Today is National Children's Book Day. For me, it was The Little Prince. I don't know how old this book is, but it has followed me everywhere and I still read it for comfort. What's yours?

When do the Caturday treats arrive?

At my brother's high school, students decorated bulletin boards with seasonal themes. I fell in love with one that featured spring flowers on a field of green and read, ‘spring is sprung, the grass is riz, I wonder where da chocolate Easter Bunny is.

Today is National Back Yard Day. This is mine, and the view that inspired a scene in No Return, the first of the Maine Lodge Mysteries and my current work in progress. Curious? I’m having a blast editing it.
