Coach Mamou is no doubt one of the best coaches I have ever played for! I know for a fact I wouldn’t have had the career I did if it wasn’t for Coach Mamou pushing me to be the best I could be (he put a new meaning to Bonus Club) He’s always making those around him better!

#OTD in 2017 the No. 2-seeded Lions defeated Rice, 12-6, in the opening round of NCAA Regional action. Drew Avans drove in 3 and Derrick Mount drove in a pair. Taylor Schwaner was 3-for-5 with a solo HR ... and of course, there was a highlight reel catch by Jacob Seward. #LionUp

The most recent inductee into the @LionUpAthletics Hall of Fame is #LionLegend Stefan Lopez, the 2012 @NCBWA Stopper of the Year. The New Iberia native dominated hitters that year to the tune of 20 saves & a 0.61 ERA. He struck out 42 & only walked 5 in 29.1 IP. #ThePatAt25

The 2016 team earned the program's first at-large bid to the @NCAACWS tournament. Some special performances earned @SouthlandSports recognition - @_Fish23 was Player of the Year, @BreaudBrennan was named Freshman of the Year and @KGranier11 was Reliever of the Year. #ThePatAt25
